Of her work, Diane has this to say:
"I was always a creative one in my dress and everyday life. It was not until later in life however, that I began a different creative journey. Once a week I would sit with a small group of artists. With the support of the other women, I soon began to develop my own style and medium in acrylic paint.
"One thing was apparent early on, fruit and flowers were not for me. I needed to paint life. That's when my impressionist/abstract style developed.
"My passion for people leads my work toward motion and color. I desire my pieces to insinuate movement as in a dance. Through color and movement the canvas comes alive for me. The subject is most likely unveiled by the title of the piece."
