Welcome to Women,Create!

Women,Create! is a non-profit organization designed to awaken and strengthen creativity in girls and women in the greater Harrisburg region. Founded in 2000, our vision is to create vibrant environments where pre-teen, teenage and adult women engage in activities that inspire and encourage personal creativity in their everyday lives.  We place an emphasis on outreach to minority women, women with limited income and women who are underserved and at-risk.  We recognize personal and community-based creativity as a means of empowerment, well-being and professional livelihood.

Through community-based partnerships, our programs have included exhibitions by emerging and established women artists, workshops and seminars, artist residencies, arts-in-education, community outreach and other innovative programs reflecting the diversity of women and their life experiences.
